Flexsys supports development along with built-in automated reengineering and conversion functions in most common third generation languages (e.g., C, Pascal, Ada, Fortran and COBOL). More importantly, it includes a powerful array of meta-components that facilitate and automate a wide variety of tasks involved in supporting visual Flexform development, code generation and automated reengineering in essentially any third or fourth generation language. Flexsys also automates many tasks involved in constructing custom converters. Development, code generation and reengineering support currently exists for C++, Java and XML. The ease with which XML converters can be constructed eliminates concerns as to which XML standard eventually "wins".
